Skill System
The skill system is based on High Five mechanics, with additional custom changes and new skills added to improve gameplay balance.
High Five Mechanics
Core skill mechanics follow the High Five system:
Attack speed and casting speed do not affect skill cooldowns
Standard High Five skill enchanting is used
Most skill behavior is based on High Five mechanics
Some skills have been changed or added new for better balance (full list of changes here)
All major skill changes are described separately in the skill changes thread.
Skill Learning
Most skills are learned automatically.
Skills are auto-learned up to level 75
High-level skills are learned through spellbooks
Forgotten skills from spellbooks are available for Adena in the GM Shop
Subclass Skills
Subclass skills have been reworked for more freedom.
Subclass skills work on all subclasses, not only the main class
No strict skill specialization is required
Any subclass can learn all available certification skills
You do not need to level a specific profession just to unlock a specific certification skill
For example, you can take 3 mage subclasses and still learn all the certification skills you need.
Clan Skills
Special buff for all clan members then clan leader is online : +5% PvE DMG/DEF
Clan Skills
Retail High Five clan skills.
Skills apply to all clan members (not limited to specific roles).
Squad Skills
Squad skill system is enabled — skills are learned at the Clan Skill Manager and require Clan Eggs to learn.
Bonuses work for the squad members as intended.
